Description

In the Middle Ages, every self-respecting castle had a falconer. Only a free man was allowed to keep birds of prey, so it was also a status symbol. House falconer Birdlive regularly gives workshops on and demonstrations with various birds of prey, both indoors and outdoors, during school vacations.

Summer vacation 2024

Weather permitting, the falconer will be at the castle square every Wednesday afternoon this summer from July 17 to August 28. If you also want to visit the museum, you can book your tickets in advance online.
