Do you love history and people? Then join the team of volunteers at Radboud Castle! We are looking for hosts and hostesses for the museum.

• You will welcome visitors to Radboud Castle museum and help them on their way with an audio tour and scavenger hunt.
• You check the ticket purchased online or settle the entrance fee with the visitor on the spot.
• You will give a brief explanation of the exhibitions and any activities.
• You answer any questions from visitors. If you like it and there is time, you will tell our guests a little more about the castle and Medemblik.
• You speak (some) English and/or German. We can also help you with common questions and answers.
• You will work a morning or afternoon shift (3-3.5 hours) or a full day (6-7 hours), including during school vacations, occasional weekends and holidays. Exact times depend on the season.

• You will receive food and drink from us from the Castle's professional hospitality department Cafe when you are on duty.
• You will become part of an enthusiastic team, varied in age and interests. We regularly organize fun activities together, such as group games, social drinks and team outings. At many of these activities you will also meet the other volunteers (such as the handymen and herb gardeners) and the hospitality team.
• You'll learn all about the ins and outs of Radboud Castle and if you like it, you'll also learn about its history!
• Your possible travel expenses from home to Radboud Castle will be reimbursed.
• As a volunteer, you have free admission to the museum, even on days when you are not scheduled.
• You decide how often you come (once a week, once a month, more often or less often). We will schedule you based on your availability. Not available for six months? No problem, everything is negotiable.
