Join us during the fall break for the Owls Workshop by house falconer Birdlive. Meet the owls in real life in the Knights' Hall at Radboud Castle. The falconer will tell you everything you want to know about these special animals.
De Uilenworkshop wordt gegeven op dinsdag 29 en donderdag 31 oktober. Het aantal plaatsen is beperkt, dus boek snel je tickets!

The cost for the Owl Workshop is €8 per person. The Dutch Museum Card and Vriendenloterij VIP card are not valid with this activity. Would you like to visit the museum itself? Then you can do so up to one hour before the Owl Workshop starts and buy a museum ticket separately. The Dutch Museum Card and Vriendenloterij VIP cards are of course valid for the visit to the museum. The museum is closed during and after the Owl Workshop.
Please note! The workshop itself begins at 3:30 pm. Due to rest for the birds, the door to the Knights' Hall will close at 3:25 pm ONLY. Once the door is closed, you cannot re-enter.
About the falconer
In the Middle Ages, every self-respecting castle had a falconer. Only a free man was allowed to keep birds of prey, so it was also a status symbol. House falconer Birdlive regularly conducts workshops on various birds of prey, both indoors and outdoors, during school vacations.
